Arts Membership
As part of the Arts & Busines network we deliver a programme of arts services across the UK to train, advise, support, encourage debate and promote best practice.
The Arts membership service drives discussion and continued professional development among cultural leaders and managers in fundraising; while also providing a key communication point between us and the cultural sector. The programme is unique within the UK, offering the only national fundraising and culture specific network for this stakeholder group with over 1,100 members across the country.
Membership Benefits
Arts membership is arranged on an organisational rather than individual basis, although individuals such as sole-trading independent arts sponsorship consultants and arts practitioners may join. As part of the annual subscription fee, members receive the benefits listed below. Please note most of these services are already in place, although some elements will roll-out with the new Arts & Business website in Spring 2009:
- On-line members area with discussion blog and Q&A forum
- Monthly e-newsletter featuring business news, in-depth articles and regional updates
- Free listings in our national job mail-out service
- On-line access to a national fundraiser benchmarking tool
- Advanced access to research, studies and reports including our annual Private Investment in Culture Survey
- Board development services, including board membership course and one-on-one support
- A national programme of twelve master classes per year across the country
- An arts fundraisers' learning and networking community with twelve meetings per year across the country
- An annual, national conference showcasing best practice in corporate-cultural partnerships and philanthropy
- Mentoring for cultural fundraisers with priority access to face-to-face surgeries
- Discounts on professional services, conferences, training events and other third party services
