Greater Arts North Gathering: Sign Up Now

This day is for arts fundraisers, chief executives and board members. Delegate Cost: £50. In response to our survey the programme is designed to support the management of your internal fundraising strategy and with board members. We will be approaching your chief executives and board members to attend alongside you, so please make them aware of the event.

  • Opening by Jim Tough, Arts Council Regional Director 24hours after Catalyst Arts goes live
  • What’s the motivation? – Finding, informing and retaining donors – a panel of speakers including donors and those with experience of working with donors.
  • Crowdfunding – an update on raising money via the internet – Adam Lopardo
  • What is ‘Sponsorship’ today – Corporate giving in 2011/12 and beyond – a panel of speakers from business will speak about how their companies approach involvement with the arts today.
  • New business models – Where to focus your limited resources?
  • Governance – the good, the bad and the absent -Vivienne Tyler will respond to the best and worst that the arts experience with their Boards; does the changing environment mean there are changes needed in governance too?
