New reports and research from Arts & Business

Monday, October 25th, 2010

Arts & Business are getting all digital with the release of the Evolution of Partnerships interactive document. The report focuses on collaborations of arts organisations with digital or digital savvy businesses. The pioneering research offers ideas on these types of partnerships and ‘a how to guide’ on how to develop them; exploring the nature of these innovative partnerships, the benefits, the pitfalls and real life success stories from across the UK. The interactive document and a PDF are available now on the Arts & Business website.

Also released this month in case you missed it was a philanthropy report. Check out the key findings and download it from the A&B website.

The Big Arts Give

Sunday, October 10th, 2010

Arts & Business have teamed up with The Big Give to launch The Big Arts Give.

Successful arts organisations from the North East in the scheme are Seven  Stories and Bowes Museum. They need to raise £40,000 and £18,000 respectively to be in with a chance of unlocking the additional funding they need for their project. Donors and patrons and friends and supporters of the organisations can pledge now, then in early December the online donations open for the public to donate.

Put the date in your diary and donate online to see your money matched pound for pound, and if you can gift aid it, your pennies will be turned into even more for the charities!

Yesterday The Sponsors Club office went to Leeds for the day to meet with our colleagues from the Yorkshire office and the Manchester office and all Arts & Business arts members from the north of England.

The day focussed on friends schemes and legacy and patron level giving also.

If you couldn’t be there and would like more information please contact Kathryn for the handouts of the day. More events like this can be found on Arts & Business website.
