Ellie is leaving us to have her baby this week, and her maternity cover will be provided by Samantha Hobrough. Sam is an experienced arts fundraiser having worked in London and Brighton for a range of organisations including Tate, English National Opera and Brighton Festival before moving to the North East earlier in the summer.
Sam will be hosting a number of advisory sessions in the coming months, watch this space to book an appointment to meet her and share in her knowledge!

This years Sponsors Club Annual Dinner, for The Sponsors Club’s Business Memebers will take place at Norham House in Newcastle City Centre.
Norham House was previously occupied by Muckle llp who vacated the building two years ago to take up residence in the new Time Central building. Since then the building has been sitting used and unloved until PopUp Initiative took over in July.
With help from the Newcastle City Council and the Empty Shop initiative, PopUp are in the process of transforming the building in to a hub of artists studios. The building is scheduled for demolition in the next 18 months but in the mean time Brookfield, the company that own the building have agreed to let PopUp have the space for free in return for reduced rates from the City Council.
Adam, out director, knew about the space as he sits on the advisory panel for Empty Shops, and thought that the building would be an interesting space to hold this years Annual Dinner.
